Autumn 2021

Our Sunday sermons and midweek homegroup studies looked at John’s first letter. John meditates on profound truths about God and the Christian life, summing up deep truths about God in simple phrases like ‘God is light’ and ‘God is love’. He also draws out the connection between great truths about God and our own lives individually and as a community. John circles around his great topics, showing new connections and applications, and through it all wanting to give us confidence that we really can know God and receive eternal life through Jesus.
